In another big ol’ bust in the Keystone State, eight individuals from the Northern Cambria area pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to the illegal taking of multiple whitetails.
The investigation kicked off in March 2024 when state game warden Mason Frumkin conducted a routine fishing license check in Indiana County. A quick peek into the suspect’s vehicle revealed firearms and ammunition, piquing the officers attention. As the warden continued to press on the individual, he soon got more than he bargained for, including a complete confession to spotlighting and shooting deer at night…

🐈 This footage of a puma on a hunt in Patagonia is absolutely insane. So what we have here is a puma on the hunt for a guanaco, which is a distant cousin of a camel that weighs between 200 and 300 lbs. As it turns out, pumas love them, but as you can see, they’re not always an easy meal.
These cats (and their prey) put in the damn work…

WANDERINGS // A SFW GLIMPSE OF OUR BROWSER HISTORY
While print is starting to make a comeback here in the US, it never really died in Japan where their outdoor magazine industry is thriving. Even though I’m assuming most of us (myself included) don’t speak Japanese, the photography is apparently worth thumbing through. Aside from the usual terrorist-types, here are four seemingly regular folks who have been added to the nation’s do-not-fly list and how you can avoid the same fate. Remember when Morgan Wallen abruptly left the set of Saturday Night Live in New York and everyone got all pissy because he wanted to get “back to God’s country” as soon as possible? Well, what if the entire population of New York decided to do that? You know, give up the city life and move out to the country, how long would it take NYC to completely fall apart? A pinch of salt literally makes almost everything taste better and, contrary to public opinion, is actually pretty good for you. So, in the event you are doing something kind-of-sort-of not good for you - like slugging cocktails - a pinch of salt might be your saving grace. OK, probably not, but it’ll help…right?
