JAMES BOND LATEST TO BE CHARGED WITH CRIME IN YELLOWSTONE
Of all the idiots I expected to see on the Tourons of Yellowstone page, I didn’t expect to see my boy Pierce Brosnan. Having spent more time than I’m willing to admit playing Goldeneye in my youth, Brosnan’s Bond was one I grew up with and respected. As a child of the 90s, I recall his iconic reign kicking off opposite Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire and later moving into his role as Bond for four films and one hell of a video game.
It was a great time to be a kid.
Fast forward some twenty-some-odd years (wait…what?!) and yet another icon of mine has been caught red-handed acting a fool. In this case, Pierce was cited for leaving established walking paths at Yellowstone National Park and snapping some pics. Now the actor is facing upwards of $1,500 in fines after pleading not guilty to the charges back in December of last year.
Gaining some sense (or looking at the photographic evidence), Brosnan has decided to reverse his plea, admitting to the wrong doing. While he maintains his claim that he did not see any visible signage warning him to stay out of the area, he did release a statement of apology on social media...

🎓 Texas makes the grade - Hunter safety is of chief concern for all of us who head afield chasing tasty critters, but despite this, accidents happen. As incidents in some states have risen over the years, the Lone Star State is holding strong. Boasting record low numbers of hunting accidents in 2023, the annual Texas Hunting Accident Report indicated only 10 non-fatal hunting accidents throughout the entire year.
🌞 But Florida is starting early - While they may have it right in Texas, Florida is wasting no time stacking early-season accidents. With turkey season officially underway here in the Sunshine State, an unfortunate incident has already left one man in hospital. Heading out to his stand in the early morning hours, a hunter spotted three female turkeys on the side of the road and followed them with hopes of finding a gobbler. Admitting that he fired under slightly low light, he struck another hunter that was carrying a decoy. According to officials, the victim suffered shot wounds to both this head and torso and was airlifted to Daytona Beach for treatment.
🚨 Illegal hunting in Austin park - After a complaint filed by a nearby school fed up with hearing errant gunshots, an arrest has been made for illegal hunting. Located beside John Treviño Jr. Metropolitan Park, the Austin Discovery School grew tired of forcing lockdowns and changing outdoor school activities due to the gunshots coming from the neighboring park. After filing a formal complaint, Texas Parks & Wildlife along with Austin PD set up surveillance, made contact with five individuals that admitted to hunting illegally in the park and arrested one man.
💨 Airgunning for big game - The long-awaited passage of Wisconsin's Act 115 is now officially law. As part of the package, the bill aimed to expand the use of airguns for hunting. Before 115 became official, state law allowed for the hunting of small game such as rabbits and squirrels with airguns, but has since expanded to include big game like whitetail deer, bear and even elk.
