Rather than importing a few subjects and protecting the hell out of them until they find a way to create a new breeding population, in the case of the dire wolf - a species that has been extinct for over 10,000 years - we went ahead with a crazy science experiment instead.
Colossal Biosciences, a biotech company based out of Dallas, announced on Monday that theyāve successfully brought back the dire wolf. Claiming to be at the helm of the "worldās first de-extinction," the companyās bold statement sparked both excitement and skepticism around the worldā¦

WANDERINGS // A SFW GLIMPSE OF OUR BROWSER HISTORY
Itās Wednesday and it just might be the perfect day of the week to tell someone to politely āscrew off". Hereās 15 ways to pull it off. Rio is most certainly on my bucket list of destinations. In case itās not on yours, hereās a hell of a guide to one of the worldās bad assed cities to help convince you that it ought to be. And speaking of bad ass, although Iām not personally into little trucks (no offense to those that partake), apparently Fordās newest iteration of the Ranger fits the bill. And apparently the brains of parrots share a lot of speech brain circuits with humans, which ultimately explains a lot if youāve ever had a bird tell you where to go.
