Despite state wildlife managers denying the possibility that a breeding population of big cats exists in the Sooner State, the first photographic evidence of just that has finally surfaced and is slowly working to quiet those who might remain doubtful.

New Mexico special hunt auction underway, with eight packages available: The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish has begun auctioning eight hunting packages for elk, mule deer, pronghorn and more to fund wildlife conservation programs. Alaska DF&G plans to increase food security by relocating deer to Kenai Peninsula: The Alaska Department of Fish and Game plans to capture up to 25 deer from the Kodiak Archipelago between September and October. Animals selected for translocation will be adult bucks and does without fawns at the time of capture. Read the full story.
